Public Blockchains in Germany

This Tuesday Digital Distributed Asset is back after two weeks absent. I solved my technical glitch and will resume a post schedule for this and my other Blog The Intelligence of Information. In the following weeks the schedule of posts will not be certain, though. I intend to manage things differently as regard the posting frequency, for I think the relevance and truly new innovative thinking should trump hard-worked frequency when blogging.

I am sharing here today a post from other WordPress site about distributed ledgers (BQchain). The post discloses the serious commitment by the main European country and global economic reference that is Germany to the technology of distributed ledgers and the Blockchain in particular. I thought this to be worth the re-posting here, for other reasons added to the political significance of what we can read in the post’s content:

Public Blockchain advocacy in Germany: Open the Door to Government

Nowadays, a new organization focused on public advocacy for blockchain has been launched in Germany. Meanwhile, German politicians join the advocacy group for Blockchain application. It aims to an open environment for the development of blockchain applications, particularly in the public sector.

For the Blockchain Bundesverband, its political advisory panel includes representatives from the country’s major political parties. Members include Thomas Jarzombek of the CDU and Jens Zimmermann of the SPD, Germany’s two leading parties. Representatives from Die Linke, Die Grünen and FDP are also part of the group.

The Blockchain solution for government has the following strengths:

  • Break through the data isolation, to realize the convenience and real-time sharing by point-to-point transmission.

Decentralized data exchange to ensure the efficiency of data utilization, further to realize the great value.

  • For data traceability, which need technology support.

Who, Where, Call for what data, then into the regular report.

  • For the incentive mechanism and performance evaluation.

The performance can be decided by the uploading data amount, data quality and utilization ratio.
